Khiching: The temple of Kichakeswari at Khiching, built entirely of chlorite slabs,is the only of its kind in India.It is the temple of Goddess Chamunda. Monolitheic pillars of Chaulakunj, exacavated site of Biratgarh and a museum nearby are the visiting places.The small museum situated here boasts of highly important historical specimens of sculpture and art.

Simlipal: Spread across 2277.07sq. km. area, the Simlipal Tiger Reserve is a tourist paradise for its varied floara and fauna and extensive grassy lands. Any nature loving tourist will be easily mesmerised by the roar of the Tiger, swaying gait of the elephant, chirping of various tropical birds, shining of tender foliages and the copious sal trees alon with the rustling of perennial streams.Also Similipal is the richest watershed in Orissa, giving rise to many perennial rivers-The Budhabalanga, The khadkei, The West Deo, The East Deo, The Salandi and the Sanjo are the major ones. Gorgeous BAREHIPANI (400mt) and JORANDA (150mt) waterfalls do give every visitor the experience of lifetime. A visit to The Ramtirtha Crocodile Rearing Centre to the nearby JASHIPUR is an exposure of different kind.

Baripada: It is the district head quarter of Mayurbhanj and has ruins of th old forts of the Bhanjas , the Jaganath temple and the temple of Goddess Jagadambika are its main centre of attraction.

Kichakeswari Temple : This temple is situated at Bahalda which is 16km away from Baripada. Bahalda was the capital of Mayurbhanj kingdom in fourteenth century. Goddess Kichakeswari is worshipped here.Deokund:A beautiful picnic spot in Mayurbhanj

Deokund: Deokund, a beautiful scenic spot amidst green forests, has picturesque waterfall. The hill top temple of Goddess Ambika is a special attraction of the place.

Manatri: Temple of Lord Kakharua Vaidyanath is situated here. Famous for Shivaratri festival.
